The Browns started the 2014 season buoyed by the arrival of new QB Johnny Manziel. However, after being comprehensively outplayed by returning veteran Brian Hoyer in pre-season, Johnny Football has found himself riding the Cleveland bench, receiving just a handful of opportunities, primarily on gimmick plays.
Despite this (and their two defeats), there has been much cause for optimism from the Browns’ performances, not least the emergence of a running game and the play of a much changed and maligned receiving corps.
